ABOUT MURR. JOURNAL
Love with
real action.
We want cats to be better understood, more thoughtfully cared for and given help when they need it.
Every cat is an individual
Breed, age and appearance do not determine an animal’s worth. We support gentle handling, respect for boundaries and responsible introductions to each individual cat. Punishment and coercion are not care, even when a person is struggling.
Where recommendations come from
The Murr. editorial team prepares guides with AI assistance using public sources from veterinary and animal welfare organizations. Each guide includes links and a review date. We distinguish everyday advice from situations requiring a veterinarian and do not publish treatment plans, dosages or diagnoses based on descriptions.
This is an educational journal: editorial review does not mean individual veterinary review. Advice from a professional for your cat, their condition and local rules matter. Information can change; check the original source and discuss important decisions with a professional.
Help without promises
We are not a clinic, shelter or rescue service and do not collect donations. Our guides help you find and check local help. We cannot promise that an organization will accept an animal or pay for treatment: contact it first.

The site has no registration, comments or payment forms. The checklist and bookmarks are stored in your browser. If storage is unavailable, reading remains available and saved state may last only until the page is closed. Press the bookmark button again to remove it. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; photographs are hosted with the site and their creators and licenses are listed separately.
If you notice an inaccuracy
